to Ireland Golden Retrievers
Established
in 2005 by Peggy and David Proud, Ireland Golden Retrievers specializes in the breeding of purebred Golden Retrievers.
Located in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada and a member of the Canadian Kennel Club. We make a significant effort to select breeding stock that conforms to the approved CKC Breed Standard to the highest possible degree.
All litters are whelped in the home to ensure full attention to
the puppies' care and to promote well socialized puppies before going to their
new homes. Parents are certified for hips, elbows, eyes and heart. 
All Puppies Have Been Placed
Simone gave birth to a litter of 8 puppies on 4 July 2011. All puppies from this litter have now joined their new families.

Golden Retriever Characteristics
Golden retrievers were developed in Great Britain in the late 19th Century for retrieving upland game and waterfowl. Goldens are a symmetrical, powerful and active dog displaying a kindly expression and possessing a personality that is eager, alert and self confident. Goldens are friendly, reliable and trustworthy. Average size for the male is 23-24 inches at the withers; females 21-22 inches. Weight for dogs: males 65-75 lbs. & females 60-70 lbs.
